Recently, we worked with our long-standing friends at Heritage Portfolio, a premium catering team within Sodexo, to support them at one of the biggest events on the golfing calendar: the Genesis Scottish Open. It was hosted at St Andrews, the Home of Golf, which is also one of our trusted customers.
This wasn’t our first time teaming up with the HPL crew (we’ve been working together for 12 years), but it’s always a pleasure. And let’s be honest, when you’re providing coffee at an event like this, it’s not just about the beans and machines. It’s about showing up, staying sharp, and being ready for anything.
Quick Thinking & Caffeine-Fuelled Support
From the get-go, we knew this was going to be a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The Genesis Scottish Open brings together top-tier players, VIPs, sponsors, and thousands of guests, all expecting world-class hospitality. And let’s face it, no one wants to queue for coffee that isn’t up to scratch.
So our job? Make sure the coffee flows smoothly across every hospitality zone, every tent, every moment.
- We got 17 coffee machines in place early. Including 5 bean to cup machines, 7 traditional machines and grinders.
- We prepped machines, stock, and backup equipment.
- And most importantly, we stayed close to the team throughout the event so we could jump in for any technical issues.
